Blake will be 1 year old in 10 days. Hard to believe it's been a year. He can now stand on his own and take a step or two all by himself. He can drink from his sippy cup when it's over half-full, he's still working on tipping the cup up. He likes water and sweet tea. He has 5 teeth and a 6th one on the way. He likes to eat his Gerber Graduates puffs or crunchies. He wants to eat adult food sooo bad, but Mommy thinks he needs more teeth so we'll stick to the mushy stuff or the stuff that disolves quickly for now. He likes mashed potatoes and loves yogurt and ice cream. He doesn't get ice cream real often though. He likes to take everything off the shelves in his room, at least the ones he can reach. Mommy had to put his diapers out of reach 'cause he was flinging them all over the place. When Mommy is trying to put his clothes away he likes to take everything out of the basket and throw it in the floor. He likes to "drive" his new train around the room. And he likes to ring the doorbell and open and close the door on his new playhouse. He's still very attached to his binky and has to have it when he's upset or sleepy. He still thinks its fun to chase Tater (the cat) around the room. No words yet, but he "talks" all the time. His favorite thing to say is "da da da da." And he gives the sweetest hugs in the morning when we get him out of the crib.
